Your first bill may be slightly higher. We prorate for the time between installation and your first bill being generated (typically 3-4 days service); there may also be one-time charges associated with new service.

Your billing date is the same every month. This is automatically generated, and is based on your installation date.

Your bill is due upon receipt. Your bill is due in full the same day you receive an invoice.

We automatically charge your payment method on file. Alternately, you can make a one-time payment by logging in to your account when payment is due.

Understanding resolution

Viasat internet plans deliver different levels of streaming video performance (expressed as resolution). Here’s what that means:

480p DVD-quality, best viewed on phones, tablets, laptops, and small-screen TVs

720p HD-ready, looks good on most screen sizes

1080p Full HD video, looks good on even the largest screen sizes (including projectors)

Video data use

The higher the resolution of video, the more data used. While there are many factors involved (including the playback settings you configure on each video streaming service), here’s an estimate of how much data you could use when streaming video:

Unlimited means you’ll never run out of data

There’s no limit to the amount of data you can use each month on our unlimited plans. Period.

High-speed data limits may affect internet speed

Unlimited plans come with a set amount of high-speed data. When this high-speed data is used up, you can still use the internet, but you may experience significantly slower speeds — especially during the early morning or early evening hours, when our network sees the most traffic from people who are home using the internet.
